What to expect

The majority of clients seeking counselling will not have experienced this kind of situation before and may be nervous, anxious and not entirely sure of what to expect. The thought of sharing very personal information can make us feel uncomfortable and daunted by the prospect.

Counselling may not suit everyone but most people benefit from having the time and space to reflect on their life and what they may want to change in their future.

Sessions Times

Our first initial session would involve getting to know one another better and me finding out more about what’s brought you to counselling and what you would like to get out of our sessions. Together we can decide how we can move forward.

Each session is scheduled for 50 minutes, usually at the same time each week although I understand this is not always possible and I will try to accommodate you as best I can. 

We can discuss what you think would work best for you, a series of sessions or perhaps you would prefer to leave this open ended.
